How to Chat!

1) WAIT for the chat window to replace the gray box below!

(First time loading applet will take longer than subsequent loads)

2) Enter a Nickname:

3) Optionally, specify your own Room Name:

("CalamityVille" is the default Room Name)

4) Select:

Nobody in chat? Click Here to page some possible chatters to come to the chat room!	Load Chat in it's own Window! (without a frame)
* If you have trouble loading chat... Make sure your Internet Options are set to Allow Java Applets and your Security Settings are not set to HIGH!

This version of CalamityVille Chat requires a Java enabled browser!

Some Helpful Chat Tips...
+ Type your message in the small box above, and then use one of the following buttons:
	This button will send your message to everyone in Chat.
	This button will whisper your message privately to *only* those Users who are selected in the User List at right.
	This will send a "Nickname thinks: <message>" to all. e.g. "YOURNAME thinks: How nice it is to chat in the 'Ville!"
	This will send a "Nickname <message>" to all. e.g. "YOURNAME blows kissess to everyone!"
+ Right-click on a Name in the User List at right, and get some interesting options!
+ To create your own Room, or enter a Room created by someone else, you must not be in a Chat Room. If you are, Leave the Chat and then join the new Room by specifying the Name in Step #3 at the top of this page and selecting 'Join the Chat'.
+ Have your own IRC Chat Utility? Use it, if you like, to join CalamityVille Chat! Chat Server: irc.winpoint.com Room Name: #CalamityVille
